A conceptualized non-profit organization branding suite and marketing campaign to provide easy access to no-nonsense sexual health education to combat widespread misinformation and empower underserved communities.

Mythology ties

Echo, a nymph from Greek mythology, best known from the story of Narcissus, was cursed to only be able to repeat the words of others. The Echo Project is a way of reclaiming her story for those who resonate with it.

find your voice, make it echo.

The Echo Project is an organization committed to informing the public of important issues regarding reproductive rights, sexual wellness, and social safety. We believe in educated decisions and fully formed opinions, especially on topics that concern underrepresented and underestimated groups of people, specifically those outside of the realm of cisgender, white, heterosexual, middle-aged men.

Barnes & Noble Rebrand

Brand Identity

A reimagining of the well-known and well-loved book retailer for a younger audience and a modern era while honoring existing brand concepts and retaining its roots in literature.

Brand integrity

The ampersand remains an integral part of the rebrand, but is no longer the central logomark.

Wordmark

Lowercase type is inviting and approachable. Bodoni serif typeface maintains readability and ties to brand roots in literature.

Iconography pulls double duty as an abstract “b” and is recognizable as an apostrophe or comma punctuation mark.

The Loft Magazine

Layout Design | Creative Direction

A class project to connect with the graphic designers that inspire us and highlight their unique journeys from student to professional.

creative direction

This was my first experience providing creative direction for a project, crafting, communicating, and executing a clear vision alongside a classmate, now a colleague. This project was the culmination of a semester of work, in which we developed a grid system and spread design guidelines, oversaw the editing process, and carried the magazine from conception to production.

Welcome to the loft.

Being a student of graphic design is a vastly different experience from being a professional designer. Through connecting with professionals to learn about these differences, students in Professor Dirk Dallas’ Image and Art Direction class have learned about the professional world and illuminated the profession for themselves and their peers. This publication, containing compiled interviews with professionals and CBU Design alumni, seeks to highlight established creatives’ experience and work, while also providing an accessible resource for current CBU Design students to learn about the field.

Future Vintage

Portrait Photography

A selection of portraits that explore light and contrast in a home studio, reminiscent of tintype photography. The captured spirit of a young woman navigating her mid-twenties celebrates the power of youthful freedom amidst uncertainty of what lies ahead.

Philosophy&Co.

Brand Identity | Marketing Campaign | Product Photography

A culmination of skills learned over the course of a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design & Visual Experience culminating in a limited release t-shirt company that gave back to communities in need.

mission

Philosophy, at its core, has a heart for those who need to be heard. The systems in place are broken, disproportionately harming underrepresented communities—we wanted to help. Through our designs, we aim to bring awareness to the issues at hand, giving back to the affected communities through donations to corresponding charities with each purchase.

We keep it simple, as things should be.

Let's make some magic together.
